Barkley Ski Club Embarks on Second Ski Trip

            Last Friday, January 22nd the Barkley Ski took its second trip to Spring Mountain Ski Area. The students began their trip by enjoying a soft pretzel that was generously purchased by Mr. Davido.  Also before they hit the slopes the students were reminded of the dangers of skiing/snowboarding.  Staying in control is crucial when on the mountain to ensure that everyone has a fun and safe experience.  Several students took another lesson which greatly improved their skills.  There were even a few students that were able to go to the black diamond side of the mountain with a chaperone.  A special thank you goes out to our non skiing chaperones Ms. Ewerth and Mr. Bretzius.  Our skiing chaperones for this trip were Mr. Chadwick, Mr. Davido, Mr. Wand, Mr. Cianci, and Mr. Hansen.   The next rip will be this Friday, January 29th.
