Fourth grade teacher Beverly Bonkoski is quickly earning a reputation for encouraging her students to get involved in their community. Two years in a row Miss B, as she is affectionately called by her students, has affected great change - literally!

Last year, her students collected their own change and solicited others' change to raise money for the Phoenixville Area Children's Learning Center Playground.

Final Total: $4,000

This year, Miss B and her class collected change, dimes to be exact, to help restore the Betsy Ross House in Philadelphia, earning them a visit from Betsy herself.

Final Total:  43,610 dimes
