Annual Asbestos Federal AHERA Compliance Report

The Phoenixville Area School District completed a required periodic surveillance inspection last December 2007 of its facilities and is scheduled to complete another six month inspection this summer.  These reports are available for review by contacting Ron Miller, Director of Operations at 484-927-5476.

The District is currently abating asbestos containing materials at its maintenance facilities and also some minimal materials for a re-roofing project.  These projects are bid and the specifications are according to AHERA and OSHA guidelines and are monitored by a third part consultant.
