Barkley K-Kids Beautify Their School

May 6, 2008

The Barkley K-Kids pulled weeds, planted flats of flowers, and mulched the beds as well as most of the trees.  Special thanks to Colonial Gardens for their help in making this possible.  An enthusiastic group of nearly 40 fourth and fifth graders planted 6 flower beds and even replaced a cherry tree.  They made short work of a 6 cubic yard pile of mulch.  The bird baths presented last June in honor of Dr. McLaughlin were placed to beautify Barkley!
