KINDERGARTEN CENTER COMMENDATIONS, June 2008

- Thank you to Mrs. Elisabeth Burgess who coordinated our highly successful before and after school Foreign Language Program. Thank you to our before and after school Spanish teachers for their contribution to this program.
- Thank you to Renee Battisti for organizing our recent trip to the Philadelphia Zoo. Thank you to the Home & School for contributing to the bus transportation and to all of the parent volunteers who helped to make the trip so successful.
- Thank you to Kelly Staszak and Dave Bretzius for all their work preparing the students for the end of year celebration. Everyone enjoyed the musical entertainment.
- Thank you to the teachers who helped prepare the students with special songs for this wonderful celebration.
- Thank you to the Home & School for the ice cream sundaes as the special treat for this end of the year event.
- Thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped with the Kindergarten Field Day. The weather cooperated and everyone had a fun day. Thank you to Chris Dunleavy, Mrs. Harriet Meyer and Mr. Joel McNary for coordinating the activities.
- Thank you to this year’s Home & School Board: President, Aimee Berger; Vice-President, Dan Brooker; Secretary, Donna Wilhelm; and Treasurer, Sonia Zinni. You did an outstanding service to the Kindergarten families.
- Thank you to our Home & School Association for their financial support with our new Mathematics program. They provided us with the funds to purchase three Mathematics manipulative kits. We are extremely grateful for your generosity.
- Thank you to all our classroom parent volunteers and special volunteers Lynn Bigelow, Lee Deveney, Ginny Reimet, and Pat Tindell. Thank you to our readers from the Phoenixville Rotary Club who gave up their time to read to our students.
- Thank you to the faculty and staff for all they do for the students at the Kindergarten Center. Your commitment to excellence ensures a quality program for all students.
- We would like to extend our heartfelt best wishes to Mike Fatula on his retirement as custodian at the Kindergarten Center, and thank him for his years of service to the School District.
- We would like to express our appreciation to Dr. David Noyes for his leadership as Superintendent for the past several years, and wish him health and happiness in his retirement.
- Congratulations to all the students on the completion of a successful year in Kindergarten!
