THORNDALE, PA — Citadel and the Chester County Intermediate Unit will be announcing the three 2008 Citadel Heart of Learning Award winners on Tuesday, May 6th. The event, held to honor all fifteen finalists, will be at the Desmond Great Valley Hotel and Conference Center in Malvern, PA.
The Citadel Heart of Learning Award is a program designed to recognize and thank teachers throughout Chester County. The program, in its seventh year, broke records after receiving more than 2800 nominations from students, parents and administrators. Fifteen finalists, one from each school district, were chosen. Three winners – one each from the elementary, middle and high school level – will be announced on Tuesday. Winners will receive $1500 to use in their classrooms and a glass award handcrafted by Simon Pearce.
