Student involvement is an essential part of the educational experience at Phoenixville Area School District. While learning in the classroom provides the academic foundation for success, meaningful participation in school activities, athletics, clubs, the arts, leadership opportunities, and community service helps students build confidence, develop relationships, and discover their passions.
Looking for ways to get your student involved? There are tons of pathways for kids to find their crowd, build skills, try new things, and feel like they belong—both in and out of school. This year, PASD is aiming to raise overall student participation by 3%. We want every single student to find something that sparks their interest and helps them feel plugged into their school and community. Kids can dive into school clubs, athletics, fine arts, leadership groups, service projects, or academic enrichment. But it doesn't stop at the school doors—we're also encouraging families to check out local youth programs, rec leagues, camps, volunteer opportunities, and community-based activities. Whether your child wants to join a team, perform on stage, learn something brand new, give back, explore potential careers, lead a group, or just make some new friends, getting involved makes a massive difference in feeling connected.
