I wanted to make you aware of a great honor that Vocal Fusion, the high school’s a cappella vocal group had earned for Phoenixville Area School District. Back in June, I was encouraged to submit an application to PSBA (Pennsylvania School Board Association) on behalf of Vocal Fusion so they may be considered for invitation to perform at the annual PSBA Leadership Conference. At this conference, a student showcase occurs during which invited performance groups from all over Pennsylvania perform for the attendees. The application, along with a video of Vocal Fusion performing, was submitted last year and just recently, we received an invitation for the group to attend and perform at this event! Not only have they received an invitation, but along with that honor, they have earned a $500 honorarium for PASD. Please, if you see any of these students, congratulate them. Once again, they will be representing PASD – not just in our local community – but this time, on a state level:
