The Advanced Orchestras at Barkley have begun work on a composition by Mr. Klapper called Morning Walk in Phoenixville. This piece will be performed in May and feature the work of a nationally known video artist named Tim McLorraine. Tim creates video art pieces that are shown along musical performances. His creations have been played with some of the best orchestras in the country, including the NY Philharmonic. For this project Tim is going to request students make art pieces that reflect their feelings about Phoenixville and will incorporate these art works into his video, which will play alongside Mr. Klapper’s composition, Morning Walk in Phoenixville.
