This is the image for the news article titled Worldwide Day of GratitudeThursday, April 30th is the Worldwide Day of Gratitude.

The Phoenixville Area School District is collaborating with www.younison.org to participate in this special day of gratitude.

We would like to create a video collage to say "Thank You" to everyone who has been working so hard to keep us safe and healthy during these challenging times. The finished product will be posted on the PASD webpages and on social media with the tags #leanonus and #dayofgratitude.

If you would like to participate in this video collage, please follow the directions below.

1. Create a sign that says "Thank You" or "I am Grateful for...."  Make it as colorful as you would like. Be creative--it can be on paper, on a sidewalk with chalk, posted in your windows...there are tons of options. You can just say a general "Thank You" or you can be specific and say Thank You to- or I am Grateful for- Healthcare Workers, First Responders, Volunteers, Sanitation Workers, Grocery Store Clerks, Custodians, Frontline Workers, etc....

2. Take a picture of your sign.
The picture can be just of your sign, of you with your sign, of your family with the sign...you get the idea

3. Send your picture to Ms. Darby by Tuesday, April 28th at noon.  Email the picture to [email protected]

Additional Options---if you would rather record a few second video with your sign feel free to send that to Ms. Darby instead. You can also record yourself saying Thank You with your sign or even singing along to part of the song.

Below is a link to the song we are using with the lyrics in case you want to sing along.
