On Saturday night, the Phoenixville Marching Phantoms proudly took home the 2021 Liberty Open Division Championship at Hershey Park Stadium.
Phoenixville has been a member of the Cavalcade of Bands competitive circuit since its inception in 1959. Since then, the Phantoms have taken home the championship trophy only seven other times: 1974, 1979, 1982, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2009.
This year's 58-member group now enters the history books as the 8th group to do so: and they did so in style last night.
These students have demonstrated an amazing sense of work ethic, dedication, and commitment this fall putting together their show: with half of them being brand new to the activity this year!
Let's extend a note of congratulations to them - they represented PASD on a whole new level. 👍💜👏
