The Phantom Gold Pass Program offers a free or discounted ticket to PASD sponsored athletics and arts events during the school to residents 65 or older who live within the school district boundaries. To obtain a card, residents should visit the PASD District Administration Office at 386 City Line Avenue and provide proof of residency.

Cards do not expire from the date of issue, however, card holders who obtained their cards prior to September 23, 2024 will need to obtain the NEW cards.  New cards can be obtained in one of three ways:

1. Surrender your old card at an event during the 24-25 school year and receive your new card.
2. Call District Office and the new card can be mailed to you (only for renewals – all new cards must be picked up in person).
3. Visit District Office.

Cards issued prior to September 2024 will be no longer be accepted/valid after May 30, 2025 and the new card will need to picked up at District Office.

How do I use my card?

Athletic Events – free admission

• At the gate, look for the Phantom Gold Pass line. Show your card to be scanned. For the year 2024-25, the new cards will be given at the gate.
• Free admission is good for the following:
  • Ticketed regular season HOME games only.
  • Not eligible for PIAA District 1 or States events (Playoffs, tournaments, etc.)
  • Not eligible for playoff games or tournaments not hosted by PASD.
• No Gold Pass seats will be sold online in advance.
• There are no reserved seating areas for PASD athletic events.

Theater events

• General Admission: For shows that offer a $5 General Admission ticket, Phantom Gold Pass members should show their card at the Box Office on the night of the show for a free ticket. GA seats MAY be purchased online in advance, however, ticketing fees would still apply. Use the code on the back of your card in the Coupon Code at checkout.
• Regular/Reserved Seats: For reserved seats that cost more than $5, Phantom Gold Pass Members may purchase and reserve seats in advance and receive a $5 discount on ONE ticket per show weekend. Ticketing fees will apply if tickets are purchased online. Use the code on the back of your card in the Coupon Code at checkout.
• Reserved seats may also be purchased at the Box Office and will still receive the discount by showing your card.
• The coupon applies to ONE ticket per show run. For example, if there are three showings of a production in one weekend, the coupon code may only be redeemed ONCE that weekend. There are typically five opportunities per school year to see productions (two at PAMS, two at PAHS, and one at Barkley).
• Arts events that are not independently sponsored by PASD or are productions by outside organizations do NOT accept the Gold Pass. Please see their ticketing polices for potential senior citizen discounts.

Frequently Asked Questions

• Do I need to use the Hometown Ticketing App for tickets for athletics events?

  No. Just enter the Phantom Gold Pass card line at the gate and show your card to be scanned.

• Can I use my Gold Pass for admission to PIAA playoff games?

  No. PASD does not manage ticketing for post-season events. All tickets must be purchased through the PIAA ticketing agent.

• Can I use my Gold Pass for admission to games played at other schools?

  No. The Phantom Gold Pass is only good for regular season, home games.

• Can I buy theater tickets online?

  Yes! Simply enter your Phantom Gold Pass code (on the back of your card) in the Coupon Code section at checkout. ALL tickets purchased online will be subject to ticketing fees, so if you are planning on purchasing the $5 general admission seat, it is recommended that your purchase those at the Box Office to avoid the additional fees.

• I am coming with my family to a show. Can I receive my discount and still select seats with my family?

  Yes! When purchasing tickets as a group, enter your Phantom Gold Pass code (on the back of your card) in the Coupon Code section at checkout. The discount will be deducted from the entire ticket purchase.

• Can I buy my tickets at the box office?

  Yes. Show your card to the ticket agent at the box office to receive your discount.

• There are multiple showings of a production in one weekend. Can I use my Gold Pass at all of the showings of the same production?

  No. The Phantom Gold Pass can only be redeemed once per production each school year. For example, if the high school is performing three shows in one weekend, you will only be able to redeem your code for ONE of those performances. Each Phantom Gold Pass Member is eligible for one redemption for each ticketed theater event in the district per school year (typically five shows – two for the middle school, two for the high school, and one at Barkley).

• There is a multi-district concert happening at PASD. Does my Gold Pass work for those tickets?

  No. Events that are co-sponsored by multiple districts are not eligible for the discount as the proceeds are divided amongst all schools.

• There is a production on PASD property, but is run by another organization. Will they accept my Gold Pass?
• No. Events that occur on district property but are NOT run by the district are not eligible for the program.
