Phoenixville Area School District

Phoenixville Area School District offers a PASD Access Pass that allows residents (18+) who reside within district borders (Phoenixville Borough, East Pikeland Township, Schuylkill Township) the opportunity to use the track at Washington Field during designated hours. The pass grants access for the passholder only and grants access solely to the track. The use of the football field, adjacent practice field, and softball fields is not permitted with this pass.

The pass is available for a one-time $10 fee and is good for one year. Cards must be renewed annually (see below for annual renewal process).

Designated Hours

The PASD Access Pass allows use during the following times:

School Year Hours

August 2-June 14

Monday-Friday: 5:30-7:30 am

Wednesday: 8-10 pm

Saturday: 6–9 am

Sunday: 6-9 am, 8-10 pm

Summer Hours

June 15-August 1

Daily: 6-8 am

Daily: 8-10 pm

While we aim to keep the track/field open during these times, there may be times that we need to revoke access for weather/safety conditions and/or a district need. Updates will be posted to our website on those occasions and users with an active Track Pass will receive email/text notifications. Please check the Track Status prior to visiting Washington Field.

Obtain Your Pass

To purchase a pass, please residents should visit the Phoenixville Area High School main entry vestibule Monday-Thursdays, 9-2 p.m. in-person. No passes will be issued over the phone or via email.

1) Provide proof of residency (current utility bill, lease, mortgage)
2) Provide photo ID
3) Pay $10 fee via cash, check made payable to PASD, or credit card (fees will apply)

Cards will be processed within two weeks of receipt of application. Residents will be notified when their card is ready for pickup.

Lost cards
Cards are the responsibility of the passholder. If a card is lost, please report it immediately to [email protected]. A new card will be reissued for an additional fee of $10.

Renewals
Cards are valid for one year from the date of issue. There is no annual renewal fee. Renewals may be via email if done PRIOR to the end of the renewal period. If a card expires, the renewal will need to be done in person.

To renew:
1) If it is before the renewal date, please send photo documentation of a current proof of residence and photo ID to [email protected]. Your card will be renewed and you will receive confirmation of your new renewal date.
2) If your card has expired, please visit the PAHS vestibule during Pass Service times and bring proof of residency and photo ID.

Conditions of Use

All residents must abide by the outlined conditions of use. Any violation of any of the conditions will result in immediate
termination of track access privileges.

1) Access is valid for the named passholder. Adult guests must have their own pass. Children under 18 must be
accompanied by an adult. All passholders must swipe their cards upon admission.

2) Access is restricted to the track. Passholders are not permitted on Washington Field or the adjacent practice
field or softball fields. Access does not include any other rental-required facility on PASD property.

3) Passholders must enter through the card access gate on Gay Street. Accessing the track at any other access
point without their card is considered a violation of the PASD Access Pass agreement.

4) No organized groups or personal trainings are permitted without a rental agreement and insurance. These do
not qualify for the open track access times as to not impede single runners/walkers.

5) No wheels allowed on track (this includes strollers, bikes, scooters, etc.)

6) No spikes or cleats. Appropriate footwear required.

7) No alcohol, tobacco, or firearms are permitted on school property.

8) Attempting to access the track without use of the designated gate/card reader and/or outside of the designated
times will result in termination of PASD Track Access privileges.

9) Please be considerate of other residents using the track.

10) Passholders must complete the waiver application agreeing to the terms of the PASD Track Pass.

11) Residents who use the field in the early morning hours will not have access to lights on the track and are
required to wear personal lighting.

12) Use of district athletic equipment (ex: hurdles, goals, mats, etc.) is prohibited under this pass.

13) Passholder must comply with any and all applicable school policies. Policies are on the district website for
passholders to review.

In exchange for use of the facilities, services and features provided by the Phoenixville Area School District. Participant
agrees to keep and obey all rules and regulations now in force or in the future prescribed for use of the facilities,
equipment and services provided by PASD. PASD reserves the right to revoke privileges if Participant fails to keep and
obey track rules and regulations. Use of the facilities is limited to Participants as outlined in the PASD published
guidelines.
