Immunization Program

Chester County Health Department
Immunization Program Update

July, 2019

The Chester County Health Department offers all recommended immunizations for adults and children through regularly scheduled walk-in and appointment-based clinics at the Government Services Center in West Chester. Please be aware of the following changes to our program as highlighted below:

Eligibility Requirement:
Services will be provided to children and adults who live, work or attend school in Chester County. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Cost:
The Health Department now accepts private insurance for immunizations; there is no cost for uninsured families or for children with Medical Assistance.

Times:
Walk-in and scheduled appointments are available. Walk-in hours are Tuesdays from 9am-4pm; Wednesdays from 12pm-6pm. Call 610-344-6252 for appointments. Vaccination records should be brought to walk-in clinics, or sent prior to scheduled appointments via mail, fax 610344-5405, or hand delivered. To ensure service, it is best to schedule an appointment.

Documentation:
Written documentation is provided to patients and recorded in the state immunization registry (PA SIIS) for access by healthcare providers.

Immunization Clinic Flyers: Please share immunization clinic flyers with patients, as appropriate.
