Today, we continue her mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place, by helping them discover their inner strength, passions, and talents. And with programs from coast to coast and across oceans, there’s a chance for every girl to do something amazing.
Health Care Access
The mission of Health Care Access (HCA) is to improve the health and quality of life in the Greater Phoenixville area by helping the uninsured and underinsured overcome financial and cultural barriers in obtaining specialized health care services. Our Vision is that every eligible resident of the greater Phoenixville Area will have access to specialized services through our programs. HCA's four specialized programs include Dental, Vision, Prescription Medications, and Mammogram Services. Please visit

The HUB
The HUB is a community meeting in which representatives from various service systems meet and problem-solve to prevent or intervene where social concerns exist. In Phoenixville, the model was initiated in the fall of 2016. The Phoenixville HUB centers around the needs of PASD students and families. A meeting is hosted at the district administration building every three weeks. Specific cases are presented individually to try and match problems with existing solutions in the community.

LGBT Equality Alliance of Chester County
LGBT Equality Alliance partners with businesses, community groups, schools, foundations, and corporations to support LGBTQ+ community members in Chester County through pride festivals, after school events, education programs, art shows, health fairs, youth activities, and more. We aim to remove barriers of communication between Chester County LGBTQ+ residents and the greater community. Rather than create a community center, it is our focus to unify the greater community so that all LGBTQ+ community members feel at home and supported in their living environment.

Living Room Conversations are a simple way to connect across divides - politics, age, gender, race, nationality, and more. The backbone of a Living Room Conversation is a conversational model developed by dialogue experts in order to facilitate connection between people despite their differences, and even identify areas of common ground and shared understanding.
Orion Communities
ORION Communities offers hope for individuals and families experiencing hardships due to poverty, disability or illness by building bridges that lead to self-reliance. ORION believes that every person deserves shelter, food, clothing, transportation, access to healthcare and respectful human interaction. Orion listens at the street level and responds to the unmet needs of our most vulnerable neighbors with creativity, compassion, and collaboration.
PathStone Corporation
PathStone builds family and individual self-sufficiency by strengthening farmworker, rural and urban communities. PathStone promotes social justice through programs and advocacy.
Phoenixville Area Police Athletic League (PAL)
Phoenixville Area PAL mission is to advance the well-being of youth in the Phoenixville and surrounding area through participation in individual and team sports and educational activities while teaching life values and community service. PAL offers a variety of after school enrichment and athletic programs that teach core life values and civic standards by engaging youth in active, healthy activities. Our programs are developed to fit the unique needs of the communities we serve. PAL's programs include babysitting classes, boxing, golf clinics, computer programming, and wrestling. Our programs are not exclusive only to our Phoenixville residence. They are open to any location or address.
Phoenixville Area Positive Alternatives (PAPA)
PAPA, primarily a volunteer, grass-roots organization supports the youth of Phoenixville in becoming successful and productive adults through programs that have a positive impact on self-esteem and life skills development. PAPA works closely with the Phoenixville Area School District, the Borough of Phoenixville, Phoenixville Community Health Foundation and other local organizations to create a positive, effective, and motivating force in the Phoenixville community.
Phoenixville Area School District Adopt-a-Family Efforts
During the holiday season each PASD school and administration building organizes a food and gift drive to support families in our community. The school counselors and the home and school liaisons work to ensure each family's specific needs are met.

Phoenixville Community Education Foundation (PCEF)
The mission of the Phoenixville Community Education Foundation is to enhance and enrich the educational experience of Phoenixville Area School District students so they learn, grow, and thrive both inside and outside the classroom. PCEF does this by raising funds and directing resources from our community.
• Phantom Food Packs (Chester County Food Bank, PCHF, PCEF)
The Phantom Food Packs is a partnership between the Cheater County Food Bank, Phoenixville Health Foundation and the Phoenixville Community Education Foundation. This partnership provides food for children in the district who face food insecurity over the weekend.
• PCEF Together We Can Funding/Internet for All
With the move to virtual instruction in fall 2020, PCEF is committed to ensuring that every student has access to the internet, so they can continue their education even while at home. We estimate that 200-300 families currently cannot afford internet service and up until now have gone without or relied on cell phone coverage for email and other communication.
• PCEF Student Activity Access Grants PASD students may apply to PCEF for up to $300 in funding to help cover the cost of certain educational or school-sponsored activities that cost more than they or their families are able to afford.

Phoenixville Area CTC is a collaborative effort involving individuals and organizations who are committed to building the community's capability to meet the needs of our children and their families so that our children will adopt safe and healthy behaviors and be successful at home, in school, and in the larger community.
