PASD Community Garden
The PASD community vegetable garden has expanded. In April of 2023, we partnered with the Chester County Food Bank and the Phoenixville Community Education Foundation to improve the program. They helped us upgrade the space to 8 large garden beds, donated seedlings, and purchased an automatic drip irrigation system. Thanks to their generosity the area has bloomed into a true garden for the community.
We need your help -- The beds have been prepped and maintained by students in the PAMS Garden Club. As the summer progresses and vegetables appear, the garden needs your support. We are looking for volunteers to help with weeding, picking, and monitoring the beds throughout the summer. Students will be able to earn volunteer service hours and families are encouraged to help.
Please consider volunteering your time by signing up here. All the needed tools and gardening gloves will be provided at the site. Please meet and check in at the middle school main office.
The garden beds are located behind the middle school between the MS and PAELC.
