PCEF Mini Grants


Mini Grant Application Process:

1.  Define your project/initiative

2.  Obtain verbal approval for project from your Building Principal – note where appropriate on the electronic application.

3.  If you are purchasing anything technology related, you MUST include that information and note where applicable. Any technology items purchased through a mini-grant are considered DISTRICT owned equipment and must be logged with the technology department.

4.  Complete and submit electronic application by
• Period 1: 9/13/2021
• Period 2: 1/17/2022

Then submit the 2021-2022 PCEF Mini Grant Application. Any applications submitted after the deadline will automatically be deferred until the second round.

5.  Forward any attachments to Lenore Filipovic in the Superintendent’s office by the deadline via email or inter-office mail.

6.  Dr. Fegley will review all proposals, and forward his recommendations to PCEF for funding.

7.  All applicants will receive notification of award decisions and funding (where appropriate.)

8.  To complete the process and be eligible for future mini grants, you will need to submit a Year End Grant Report (found on the district website/staff resources/PCEF Mini Grants for Education). Appropriate documentation and photos should be attached, and forwarded to Dr. Fegley no later than June 1st of that school year.

Please Note: Teacher mini-grant projects are only eligible to be funded for three years.  After three years, funding for successful programs should come from building or district budgets.
